Dobson nominato allenatore WP Currie Cup

Città del Capo - John Dobson prenderà il posto di Allister Coetzee come allenatore Western Province Currie Cup entro la fine dell'anno.

Questo segue l' annuncio che Coetzee lascerà il sindacato ad allenare gli Steelers Kobelco in Giappone.

Data di rilascio finale di Coetzee non è stato confermato ancora (farà vedere almeno la stagione 2015 Super Rugby), ma direttore di Rugby Gert Smal annunciato che ci sarà un cambiamento nel gruppo di gestione del team Occidentale Provincia Currie Cup.
Avanti anziano allenatore Matt Proudfoot e allenatore backline anziano Robbie Fleck, da lungo tempo assistenti allenatori di Coetzee, continueranno nei loro rispettivi ruoli con i Stormers a livello Super Rugby ma Smal saranno utilizzarli altrove durante la stagione 2015 Currie Cup.
Proudfoot sarà a capo di un nuovo progetto a WP Rugby, l'auto-ha spiegato 'stretto Five Factory', mentre Fleck diventerà la provincia occidentale Under 21 capo allenatore nella seconda parte della stagione - tutte finalizzate a sviluppo dei giocatori e, soprattutto , mantenendo gli alti allenatori professionisti fresco e consentendo loro di sviluppare le proprie competenze anche in un ambiente di coaching diverso.

Dobson (allenatore) e Dawie Snyman (assistente allenatore - backline), a sua volta, è promosso al livello di Currie Cup dopo cinque stagioni di successo responsabili sia del WP Under 21 e fianchi Vodacom Cup, ognuno dei quali è in linea con La visione di Smal a potenziare tutti gli allenatori professionisti del sindacato.
Smal ha spiegato: "John Dobson e Dawie Snyman hanno entrambi mi ha impressionato con la loro visione e, naturalmente, i loro record parlano da soli - dopo aver vinto tre trofei in cinque stagioni e prodotto innumerevoli giocatori che si sono trasferiti nel nostro team Super Rugby e Currie Cup ( e oltre).
"E 'stata sempre mia intenzione dare John e Dawie l'opportunità a un livello superiore in questa stagione e sono positivo che premieranno la mia fede in loro e continuano la loro progressione come allenatori di talento. Al tempo stesso, Matt e Fleckie possono diffondere la loro conoscenza specializzata dal basso verso l'alto - e quindi ottenere un'esperienza di prima mano dei nostri giovani talenti all'interno del sindacato - e anche sviluppare il loro allenatore in un nuovo ambiente.
"Negli ultimi mesi abbiamo ora integrato del calibro di Paul Treu, Hanyani Shimange e Rito Hlungwani nelle nostre di coaching set-up, più siamo in grado di utilizzare Allister Coetzee, Robbie Fleck e Matt Proudfoot in nuovi, più ampi ruoli nel secondo metà della stagione e, naturalmente, (siamo) impostato a dare del calibro di John e Dawie una meritata opportunità ad un livello superiore.
"E 'un momento emozionante per tutti i nostri allenatori, che continueranno a essere stimolato durante tutto l'anno, ma con tutte queste notizie (e movimento) ora confermato possiamo passare nella stagione 2015 Super Rugby senza distrazioni fuori campo e concentrarsi sul lavoro a portata di mano. "

Rimane incerto che allenare i Stormers in concorso Super Rugby del prossimo anno, ma i rapporti sono collegati ex allenatore Wallabies Eddie Jones al ruolo.

Newlands e WP U21

Quando calpesti l'erba di Newlands e ricordi tutte le battaglie che hai visto combattere sui 7000 metri quadri intorno a Te c'è un po' di emozione ma dopo un attimo pensi..... proviamo a vedere cosa sanno fare questi ragazzi del Western Province U21 prima del derby di sabato con i Bulls, per la Currie Cup.
Fantastici , disciplinati e ascoltano il mio infame inglese maccheronico in rispettoso silenzio ma quando cominciano le danze sono veloci in tutto, nella tecnica e nella corsa ma anche nel capire quello che io volevo da loro. Intorno una organizzazione semplicemente perfetta, uno staff numeroso, completo, guidato da un preparato e competente John Dobson che negli anni '80 e' stato giocatore a Verona e che io ho avuto il piacere di allenare.

Mal d'Africa

 

Sarà per le storie che mi raccontava la nonna Maria, tre mariti e quasi quarant’anni a Porth Elisabeth a far  tortelli di zucca alla mantovana al circolo degli italiani. Sarà per l’Amore per questo sport e per questa terra che di Rugby vive e respira, fatto è  che sempre più spesso devo andare a disintossicarmi in South Africa,  nella bellissima Città del Capo, per trovare l’equilibrio giusto e continuare. La vita di tutti i giorni, lo stress e le preoccupazioni vanno combattute e non c’è rimedio migliore di andare qualche giorno a trovare dei veri Amici, appassionati e competenti. E’ un po’ come andare ad un corso di aggiornamento tecnico ma anche un grande restart per la mente.

Grazie John per la Tua amicizia e aiuto, Tu sei una persona molto importante per me, sai riconoscere la qualità delle persone e te ne sono grato, grazie Nick per la Tua serenità, in fondo è solo un gioco, ascolterò con piacere le Tue vicissitudini di quando eri in Italia e così le mie mi sembreranno meno amare. Grazie Steve, Paul, e tutte le persone che mi vogliono bene. 
Ragazzi stiamo arrivando

 It will be for the stories he told me his grandmother Mary, three husbands and nearly forty years in Porth Elisabeth to make pumpkin ravioli to the Italian Club. It will be for the love for the sport and for the land that lives and breathes rugby, the fact is that more and more often I have to go into rehab in South Africa, in the beautiful Cape Town, to find the right balance and continue. The life of everyday stress and worries must be fought and there is no better remedy than to go a few days to find some real friends, passionate and competent. It 'sa bit like going to a refresher course in technical but also a great restart to the mind.
Thanks John for your friendship and help, You are a very important person to me, you know recognize the quality of people and I'm grateful, thanks Nick for Your peace, it is only a game, listen with pleasure to your adventures when you were in Italy, and so my will seem less bitter. Thanks Steve, Paul, and all the people who love me. Guys I'm coming

With the Christmas and New Year period fast approaching, it is often a time when Rugby takes a back burner for Family and Friends. Same goes here at IRANZ, but before we get into holiday mode we would like to give you the opportunity to start the New Years resolution early and book a place on one of our 2014 courses now, so you can put the feet up before the hard work begins.

IRANZ courses for over a decade have provided that clinical next step in player and coach development to push onto higher honours and our opening courses in 2014 will yet again provide just that.

Starting 2014 at full throttle we have our High Performance Players Course which kicks off on the 26th of January till the 14th of February.
This course is accompanied by our High Performance Coaches Course which runs from the 3rd of February till the 14th of February.

For both Players and Coaches this is the most intensive course you could ask for. With tuition from our specialist staff and one on one position specific mentoring from the likes of Jeff Wilson, Chris Jack and Mike Brewer, the knowledge that is passed on when it comes to physical, mental and technical ability is unrivaled.

For those Coaches looking to bring their technical skills up to speed with guidance from current and past professional coaches we have our Practical Coaches Course which runs from the 21^st till the 23^rd of February. It is a great hands on experience for coaches and provides an ideal footing to become a competent coach at School and Club level.

IRANZ also provides the opportunity for full squad development in the form of customised courses. This allows you to pick specific areas of the game where your team or club requires the greatest improvement. These can be held at the Sport and Rugby Institute facilities or your desired location.

With a wealth of options to improve your squad for the 2014 season, IRANZ would like to hear from you.
